SalesPitch Child Safety Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Last Updated: April 01, 2025
At SalesPitch, we are committed to creating a safe and secure environment for all users, with a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These Child Safety Standards (“Standards”) outline our policies, prohibited behaviors, and the measures we take to prevent and respond to CSAE on our platform.
1. Definition of CSAE
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) includes any content, behavior, or activity that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers individuals under the age of 18. This encompasses, but is not limited to:
- Grooming a child for sexual exploitation.
- Sexual extortion (“sextortion”) of a child.
- Trafficking of a child for sexual purposes.
- Creation, distribution, or possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including photos, videos, or computer-generated imagery depicting minors in sexually explicit conduct.
- Any other form of sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor.
2. Prohibited Activities
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited on SalesPitch:
- Uploading, sharing, or distributing CSAM in any form.
- Linking to external sources that host CSAM or promote CSAE.
- Engaging in or soliciting sexual discussions involving minors.
- Attempting to groom or exploit minors for sexual purposes.
- Encouraging or facilitating any form of CSAE, including providing instructions or resources for such activities.
- Sharing content related to CSAE, even if intended to raise awareness, unless explicitly permitted by SalesPitch for educational purposes.
3. User Guidelines
- Appropriate Content: Users may share lawful and appropriate content, such as family photos, provided it does not violate these Standards. Images of minors must depict them fully clothed and in non-sexual contexts.
- Reporting Violations: We encourage all users to report suspected violations of these Standards immediately through our in-app reporting feature or by contacting our Child Safety Team at support@salespitch.app.
4. Our Commitment to Safety
SalesPitch takes proactive steps to prevent and address CSAE:
- Content Moderation: We employ advanced technology and human review processes to detect and remove prohibited content.
- User Screening: We monitor user activity to identify and prevent potential CSAE-related behavior.
- Collaboration: We work with law enforcement, child safety organizations, and industry partners to combat CSAE and support investigations where required.
- Reporting to Authorities: Confirmed instances of CSAM or CSAE are reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or other relevant agencies, as mandated by law.
5. Consequences of Violations
Violations of these Standards may result in:
- Immediate removal of offending content.
- Suspension or termination of the user’s account.
- Referral to law enforcement when illegal activity is identified.
- SalesPitch reserves the right to take any additional measures necessary to uphold these Standards and protect our community.
6. Updates to These Standards
We may update these Standards periodically to reflect changes in laws, regulations, or best practices for preventing CSAE. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent revision.
